A bitter ex-husband’s cyber-revenge has turned into a real life nightmare for an Arizona woman, after he created a website devoted to ruining her life.

Desiree Capuano first found desireecapuano.com in March 2014, when a co-worker approached her and told her she probably shouldn’t advertise that she was a stripper and drug addict on her website.

She never did, but when she looked at the page, Capuano said she immediately knew who the culprit was. It was a scathing website with all her personal details, her private photos, and slanderous stories calling her a “child abuser, a white supremacist, a narcissist and just an all-around bad person” created by her ex-husband, Patrick Fox.

He had recently changed his name from Richard Riess, Capuano said.

The page had her mugshot, a photo of her medical marijuana card, and pictures of intimate moments with her current boyfriend.

Capuano said she’s tried all she could to have the website taken down, but each time it rises back online.

“He’s told everybody he will not stop, all of this will not make him stop,” Capuano told the Daily News. “There’s no law to tell him he’s got to.”

Arizona authorities have told her there was nothing they could do about the page because it falls under free speech, she said.

She’s had the website removed after reaching out to GoDaddy, but it resurfaced a few days later, hosted on Fox’s own private server in Canada.

While Capuano has been able to get an order of protection to stop his harassing emails, she hasn’t been able to shut down the imposter page.

“The laws just have not caught up, especially internationally,” James Pendleton, her boyfriend, who is also featured on the hate page, told the News. “He’s obviously a very sick person and he’s transferring a lot of hate towards her, and it’s scary.”

Patrick Fox hates his ex-wife so much he created an extensive website that was designed to “ruin her life and destroy her.”

The page has been up since January 2014, and the spiteful cyber-bully still posts updates frequently in blog posts pretending to be Capuano. Before he was blocked from contacting her, Fox told Capuano his ultimate goal was to get her to commit suicide and was using the webpage to do it.

The hateful ex-hubby bragged that the page would be the first hit on Google any time someone searched her name, and would use search engine optimization with keywords like “meth-head” and “pothead” to soil her reputation.

At one point, he even hacked into her LinkedIn account and sent the scandalous webpage to over 650 of her co-workers.

Capuano claims that Fox has time to do all this as a software developer, working on the website as a side project along with his actual job.

Fox has publicly admitted that he created the website with the sole purpose of destroying her life.

“I would devote the rest of my life, doing everything that I could, legally of course, to ruin her life and destroy her,” Fox told CBC.

Their feud began in 2002, over a custody battle for their son. Fox was deported to Canada in 2009 and spent two years in prison for perjury after lying and telling the court he was an American citizen, and has rarely seen his son since.

In email exchanges posted on the page, where the son is copied on, he’s threatened to hire a man to have sex with Capuano for the sole purpose of obtaining naked photos to post online.

He has also taken out Google Ads in her neighborhood so more people can see it.

When asked what might convince Fox to take down the vile page, he said:

“When she is destitute and homeless and the existence of the website would become irrelevant, that might.”
