The drug molly was cited in two fatal overdoses and four nonfatal cases at the Electric Zoo 2013 music festival held at Randall’s Island last weekend. Boston Police say a bad batch of the drug is blame for the ODs.

Boston Police say they believe a bad batch of “molly” is being sold in the Northeast after the synthetic drug was blamed for a rash of overdoses in Massachusetts and New York.

Three people overdosed on molly, a pure form of ecstasy, last week at the House of Blues in Boston. And in the city at the Electric Zoo concert on Randalls Island over the weekend, molly was cited in two fatal overdoses and four nonfatal cases.
